Lemon Picking at the Orchard

Thriving is within reach.

Hello!

I’m happy you’re here.

Are you feeling stuck in your health journey, or just starting to ponder it? Looking for fresh ideas and encouragement to keep you motivated? Don’t have a lot of time to devote to the seek and find of doable health practices? I’ve got you.

I am a wife, mom, former corporate accountant turned homeschool teacher, home-manager, and expert health and wellness explorer.

I began making connections between my food choices and how I feel while in high school in the late 90’s. It started me on an often imperfect, but satisfying, journey of learning about myself and my physical, mental, and spiritual needs.

Over the decades of observing the changing landscape of my body and health advice, I realized an openness to learning and maintaining a sense of wonder are essential to health. This openness and wonderment have allowed me to frequently witness how simple (and sometimes not-so-simple) changes have a positive impact on my family.

Knowing a health-journey is a lifetime quest and having a community to share the experience with is so important for success, I/we would love to share the journey with you!

In wonder of you,

What I know. . .

We tend to forget we are each a unique creation. As kids we are taught our fingerprint is one of a kind – there is no other like it. But for some reason, we don’t apply that to the rest of our body. Friend, you are a work of art!

So, as you can imagine, it is VERY important to explore yourself and it is also important to have a mindset of wonderment and grace as you do so.

What are some “uniquely you” things to explore?

  • Your history.
  • Your inner-conversations.
  • Your best foods.
  • Your favorite fitness.
  • Your sleep needs.
  • Your response to nature.

And there’s so much more. . . I know it can feel daunting, but instead, how about we feel curious? If you want a partner on the path - I would be delighted! Scroll down for ways we can explore together, or click on the text in the box below to learn more about me.

Nourishment.

Is what we need (and deserve) from food and movement. It goes beyond temporary comfort. To nourish is to supply what is necessary for life, health, and growth.

Stewardship.

Is the responsible overseeing and protection of something considered worth caring for and preserving. Humanity and our planet require conscious tending.

Red Heart Shape

The GOT Manifesto

I believe people want to be healthy and do right by their body.

I believe somewhere along the way many of us bought into the lie that we don’t deserve to thrive. . . and seek only to survive.

I believe we bury this notion deep within – into every cell - penetrating the body, mind, and spirit. Then, we pass our cells to our children all while wishing, hoping, and praying they will thrive.

I believe nourished and wonder-filled grown-ups raise nourished and wonder-filled children.

I believe on this side of heaven there is nothing stronger than a healthy, thriving family.

I believe many systems of health are broken, from how we interact with ourselves and others to how our food is grown and raised, and broken systems do not create healthy results.

I believe there is a dire need for connection to God, self, others, and nature.

I believe this connection is found by working individually and together as a family and community to nourish deep hungers – spiritual, mental, and physical, and be a good steward of our gifts.

I believe good food, a journal and pen, and fresh air are transformative.

I believe in studying the Bible and nature, getting dirty, and acknowledging where you’ve been.

I believe we are each unique and in studying our uniqueness, a renewed thriving life can be found.

I believe the deep work of thriving starts with studying and Growing One Thing at a time.

I believe in you.

The time for bold exploration is now!
